Dear All, It is unfortunate the DUTA has failed to look at the well being of all the sections.
We wish to fight collectively the negative features of MHRD notification as well in the draft of UGC regulations. It is shocking to see the DUTA leadership has called off the demonstration outside UGC on 24 February 2009 on getting clarification on just two clauses and aashwasan from UGC chairman. The UGC regulation is still on the website and the negative features may come in the final regulations. The demonstration on 24 February 2009 would have been the first agitation from our side on the negative features of pay commission. In FEDCUTA meeting, JNU union gave dissent on the withdrawal of the demonstration. LET US JOIN THE DHARNA on 25 FEBRUARY 2009, Wednesday at 11 am to 3 pm at ARTS FACULTY.
