Do you think that these figures and statistics are new to people here? , or that they are disputed by any one as facts? If your answer is yes, it just means that your snobbishness knows no bounds! If it is otherwise , please try to understand the point raised by the original post (it needed no words; even one had used words, it would have done no good to your understanding!) Any way, this would have suggested that the lives of majority of Indians are bad enough, disparities in incomes are widening, people who live there in slums are humans too, they are badly in need of food, clothing, shelter, education and freedom to live with dignity?..
