Tharjani presents VARANASI through the lens of K.R.Vinayan at C,Durbar Hall Art Center of Kerala Lalitha Kala Academy, Ernakulam, from 15th May to 20th May 2009.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by Sri.M.T.Vasudevan Nair at 4.30 pm on 15th May 2009. Sri.C.N.Karunakaran will preside over. Varanasi 24X1 is the third in the series and looks at what happens in the quaint town on the banks of Ganges in a space of 24 hours,from the sublime to the ethereal. The earlier presentations on travel photography was held in Hyderabad in December 2002, on traditional setting of central courtyard in Kerala mansions-Naalukettu, at Trichur in January 2008 and the present works on Varanasi in December 2008.
