ഷംനമോള് കേരളത്തില് എവിടെയോ ജീവിച്ചുവരവെ പൊന്നരിവാളമ്പളിയില് കണ്ണെറിയുന്നോളേ എന്ന് വിളിച്ചു രാജ്മോഹന്. അവര് ഒളിച്ചോടി. ഏതോ ക്ഷേത്രത്തില് പോയി മാലയിട്ടു. വിവാഹം രജിസ്റ്റര് ചെയ്യാന് അപേക്ഷ കൊടുത്തു. ഇതിനിടെ ഷംനമോളുടെ വീട്ടുകാര് പരാതിക്കാരായി. വധൂവരന്മാര് പൊലീസില് ഹാജരായി. കോടതിയിലെത്തിച്ചു പൊലീസ്. ഷംനയുടെ മൊഴിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തില് കോടതി ദമ്പതികളെ വിട്ടയച്ചു. വധൂപിതാവ് മകളെ ബലമായി നാടുകടത്തിയെന്ന കേസ് ഹൈക്കോടതിയിലുണ്ട്.
