europe had never grown out of the dark days of inquisition and crusades. colonialism, world wars, slave trade, apartheied were all part of it. it is just that they have technolgy- that enables them to exploit the rest of the world, that doesnt mean that they have turned civilised. it was not long ago the waring christian denominations treated one another like this across europe. they call others barbaric and savage while practicing barbarism and savegery of the worst kind. here their fear of a 7 per cent population of which only 13 per cent practices religion is glaringly telling of the absolute lack of confidence in their culture, their religion. it is also interesting, though not surprising, that the western media which is the most potent weapon in their armoury, has more or less blacked out this thalibanic act of the 'civilised' switzerland that thrives on stolen money stashed in their banks (one lakh crores rupees from india alone). farida
