Candidates pursuing PG course in Professional subjects by correspondence or by Distance Education mode are not eligible to receive financial assistance under this scheme. The tenure of award is for two/three years depending upon tenure of the Postgraduate course. The financial assistance available under the scheme is as follows:- Courses - Scholarship - Contingency M.Tech. @ Rs. 5,000/- p.m @ Rs. 15,000/- p.a Others @ Rs. 3,000/- p.m @ Rs. 10,000/- p.a The applications in the prescribed format given below, may be sent to the UNDER SECRETARY (SA-III) UNIVERSITY GRANTS COMMISSION, BAHADUR SHAH ZAFAR MARG, NEW DELHI – 110 002 duly forwarded through the Universities/ Institutions/ Colleges where the candiate is pursuing his/her Post Graduate course within one month from the date of issue of the advertisement.
