It publishes a student magazine and is planning to create various support systems for Dalit students in Higher Education like mentorship programmes, student platform and student portal along with other activities. It invites applications and CVs for the position of Accountant cum Administrator. Accountant cum Administrator will be responsible for * * - Maintaining up-to-date book keeping and accounts and filing systems, maintenance of cash book/day book for internal and external use. - Timely payment of all office operation costs for example electricity bills, telephone bills etc. - Managing all file work, Bank reconciliation, processing bills, payments, honorariums etc. - Receipt and payment vouchers and their verification and authorization, Income tax filing, controlling office expenditure and maintaining infrastructure. - Other routine administrative works. *The position requires the following qualifications:* 1. Commerce Graduate (preference to M.Com). 2. 1-2 years work experience as accountant with similar job responsibilities preferably in an NGO. 3. Knowledge of computer (MS office, Tally 7.2 and Internet etc.) is essential. 4. Good communication skills both in English and Hindi 5. Knowledge of accounting and tax regulations for non-profit organizations is desirable. *Salary* - Rs 10,000 - Rs 13,000 (Based on Experience) We strongly believe in the principle of equal opportunities and hence candidates from SC / ST/ Women categories will be preferred.
