Jaibheem As you may be aware, NCPCR has taken an initiative to review the existing National Policy for Children, 1974.
In response to this opportunity, IACR (India Alliance for Child Rights) – Delhi , has started a nation wide process of civil society consultations to recommend revisions in the Policy. The first meeting towards this review process happened in Delhi on 10 April 2010. The state consultations have happened in Karnataka and Gujarat on 24 and 28 April respectively. Similar other state consultations are being planned during May 2010.
