The basic idea behing this action by the GOK is to approve more projects in the last phase.. The old Committee has shown their dissent over many issues like Metran Kayal in Vembanad The new committte is chaired by Binoy Vishwam ( The only Hope in the Commitee) Members of the commiteee are Kodiyeri Balakrishnan Thomas Chandi E S Bijimol The saddest part is that it has tourism minister who wants more tourist Project in Vembanad, Thomas chandi who is a well known resort owner in vembanad who reclaimed many portions in Kuppapuram region and Biji mol who was agaist the action agaist encroachers in Munnar.So now power is vested in the hands of these guyz!!!!!
