Greetings and ovations from the SASF Secretariat. On 20-21 January,2011 we met in Chayanot Seminar Room in Dhaka for one and half days to arrive at a great decision of holding our well awaited South Asia Social Forum SASF in Dhaka, Bangladesh from 18-21 November, 2011. The count-down has already started and we all relevant in South Asia will have to jump into the preparatory business with all our potential strength and commitment without any delay. We have formed 4 committees comprising fellows from Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Srilanka for the preparatory discourses like follows: (1) Programme(2) Finance(3)Mobilisation and (4)Media & Communication. The Finance Committee will meet on 29 January, 2011, the Programme Committee on 30 January. The rest will be having meeting within 31 January. The secretariat and the website will be strengthened and updated soon. We will inform you all about the decisions and call to South Asian organizations this week.
