Here is the scanned copy of the affidavit dated April 14 filed by an IPS officer, Sanjiv Rajendra Bhatt, before the Supreme Court in connection with the case between Zakia Ahsan Jafri and the State of Gujarat. The police officer was posted as the Dy. Commissioner of Intelligence at the State Intelligence Bureau from December 1999 to September 2002. Bhatt has levelled serious allegation just not against Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi but also the SIT investigating the charge, made by Mrs Jafri, under the instructions of the Supreme Court.
