Two Marathi news papers (Maharashtra Times and Lokmat) covered our
event with photos. I have uploaded photos of all the posters we made
at

https://joindiaspora.com/tags/15octpune

Even though we explained to them we are not using any organisation's
banner, they put it as "Amhi Nagarik" - the title we used in press
invitation - which mean "we, the citizens" in Marathi! It will take a
while for people to realize we don't need any organization or party to
be representing us when we can represent ourselves, it is a big
change, largely made possible by communication technology.

In one of the posters I wrote "who is representing me?". I think every
one of us should think deeply about it, are the people we selected
really representing us?

You have to keep reminding your government that you don't get your
rights from them; you give them permission to rule, only so long as
they follow the rules: laws and constitution.
