We had a very positive discussion around #occupywallstreet documentaries

Some points I remember

How do we relate to their demands? Shouldn't we focus on the
situation in #India
Isn't is #globalization that enabled us to watch these protests
live and isn't it lack of development of capitalism that makes many
important struggles, that are happening in remote parts of India
against forced land acquisition, invisible
We should have more screenings of these documentaries
But English is a barrier and we have to make these available in
local language.
We also have to make documentaries covering issues that are
important in India
We formed a media team (8 people now) to make these translations,
documentaries and a collective journal
Yesterday's session inspired us to mobilize more people for a
bigger #occupypune event. We are targeting an organising meet on Nov
12th and final event on 20th. We will see how it goes.

You have to keep reminding your government that you don't get your
rights from them; you give them permission to rule, only so long as
they follow the rules: laws and constitution.
