Last Updated: Mon, 24.10.11 14:03Maoist chair says he has no links with Indian intelligence agency UCPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has expressed serious reservation on his party general secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa's allegation that he is following the directive of Indian intelligence agency, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). Talking to media-persons in Simara Airport of Bara where he arrived to take part in a party programme, Dahal dismissed claims made by Thapa yesterday that he had gone to India's Siliguri town a few months ago and met RAW agents. Dahal said that Thapa's allegation that he has links with RAW and that he is acting under their instructions is "baseless and illogical". "I challenge him (Thapa) to prove his accusation that I have followed the directive of RAW," he said. Thapa had on Sunday accused that Dahal agreed to reduce the number of PLA combatants to be integrated in the Nepal Army under the directive of the RAW. Talking to media-persons in Bharatpur, he further alleged that the party chairman met RAW agents in Siliguri and agreed to integrate only 5,000 cantoned combatants instead of 10,000 as demanded by his party. -- Peace Is Doable -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Green Youth Movement" group.
