DALIT-BAHUJAN STUDENTS IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS"

Hyderabad, Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

A panel of accomplished academicians and public intellectuals of the city
speak on "The Neoliberal policies and the future of Dalit-Bahujan students
in higher educational institutions" at the University of Hyderabad.

In the context of a series of changes in admission procedures, fee
structure and hostel accommodation, curriculum design and recruitment
policies in the recent years; the "Forum for the Protection of
Reservations" comprising the student groups ASA, BSF and DSU along with the
SC/ST Faculty Forum organizes this event.

Speakers: Prof Kancha Ilaiah (MANUU), Prof Susie Tharu (Anveshi), Prof
Vishveshwar Rao (MANUU), Prof Sasheej Hegde (UoH), Prof Chakrapani (BR
Ambedkar open University) & Dr K Lakshminarayana (UoH).
