The initiative to push the ban of beef in this country and not pork represent the real taste of communal politics in this country. One of the conditions of RSS for the support of Modi's Prime Minister Candidature is that he should ban an extremely nutritious food called beef. None of the four conditions for the support of RSS for Modi represent the problems of people of this country. If you have to ban beef, then you better ban all non-vegetarian food from the same logic. Beef is consumed by a large section of Dalits, Adivasis, Muslims, Christians, fisher folk and also a large section of upper caste Hindus as well. I love beef and you have no right to deny our food rights. And how come they are not asking for a ban on the vegetables with deadly chemical pesticides which are already banned abroad and how come there is no need for a ban of hormone treated food, GM crops and radiated food?
