Nathuram Godse , a Maharastrian Brahmin, was a staunch nationalist.

Nathuram Godse, "a staunch nationalist", scrupulously kept away from
India's epic national liberation movement for freedom from the British
colonial rule.
And, his name is known only because he assassinated the tallest leader of
Indian freedom movement widely acknowledged as the Father of the Nation and
so anointed by none other than Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

That's the "nationalism" of Nathuram Godse and his apologists - an evil
bunch of anti-India terrorists!
