[We blew off the Pakistan! .... I told at night: "Blow the boat off!
We don't want to serve them biriyani!"
That's a dialogue which was expected to make the man delivering it, in
a pretty much dramatic way, a veritable hero in the eyes of his
audience.
Evidently, that is precisely what the man delivering it expected. And,
that is precisely why he did what he did.
But unfortunately, very unfortunately for him, this reached out to a
much much larger audience - even transcending the national boundaries.
And, the real fun started unfolding.
Of course, it goes without saying, the man concerned does not now find
it all that funny. Nor, quite a few others.
(Just an aside, no jail in India is known to serve biriyani to its inmates.)

Coast Guard DIG Loshali shunted out for remarks on Pak boat, to face

The government has removed Coast Guard DIG B K Loshali from the
position of Chief of Staff, North West and attached him to the force's
Gandhinagar-based regional headquarters.
The move on Monday came barely a week after Defence Minister Manohar
Parrikar indicated that action would be taken against Loshali for
comments that contradicted the government's stand on the sinking of a
Pakistani fishing boat off the Gujarat coast on New Year's eve.

"He has not been given any responsibility. A three-member inquiry
board will take inputs from various agencies and individuals, and
submit its report to the Coast Guard HQ in four weeks," said an
official from the Defence Ministry.

While the government has claimed that the Pakistani boat had been set
on fire by its crew, Loshali told an audience of Coast Guard and
Larsen & Toubro officials on February 15 that on "31st December night.
I was there at Gandhinagar, and I told at night, blow the boat off. We
don't want to serve them biryani".

According to the Defence Ministry official, the inquiry board, which
will be headed by a senior officer of DIG-rank, was collecting inputs
from those who were on duty at the time of the incident. "Based on the
final report submitted by the BoI, the action on DIG Loshali could
either be disciplinary or administrative," the official said.

Loshali's remarks were first reported by The Indian Express on
February 18 after which the officer claimed he was misquoted. However,
this newspaper subsequently released a video of his speech following
which the Coast Guard issued a showcause notice to the officer, giving
him 48 hours to reply. His reply was "found unsatisfactory", leading
to the Board of Inquiry.

The story about the "boat full of Terrorist" was on the Way to Gujurat
to atttack the "Gujurat Vibrant International Conference" attended by
the PM and alot of Foreign guests. The hyper was so great to create the
Impression this was going to be second part version of Mumbai 26/11.
If the Government cannot release the Satellite phone conversion
between the BOAT and Pakistani Authority on land , during this
incidence the Defense minister said IT Very Confidential and cannot be
released to the Public. We Understand his issue. HE should call senior
member of all parties in the delhi to see and hear the evidence to
built a health honest discussion. The second question is on the First
day the "news" was they was a pakistani Army wireless set was found in
the boat, I wonder Which Indian authority had seen it ( wireless set)
before the news was broadcast on TV. The third layman question to the
defense Minister and PMO where is the bodies of the boat occupant
after the incidence or part of the burnt boat .How much part of the
boat was recovered for forensic investigation. Could the be three
versions could be 1 it was a Pakistani "terrorist Boat" which was
blown up by the occupant, 2 could it be a pakistani boat with
"terrorist: blown up by the coast guard as mentioned by the Officer in
question ORDERS GIVEN TO HIM TO DO SO. 3 Could it be a drama created
to make it like the mumbai " 26/11 (PART 2 )attack in which case the
boat was Indian creation of one small Bollywood movie and was burnt to
make is Very dramatic " FOR GENERAL PUBLIC CONSUMPTION. 4 WHAT IF IT
WAS BOAT WITH INNOCENT FISHERMAN / OR SMUGGLERS VOIDING THE PAKISTANI
COAST GUARD FIRST IN PAKISTANI WATERS AND THEN TRIED TO AVOID THE
INDIAN COAST GUARDS ON THE INDIAN SIDE. iF THIS COULD BE TRUE THIS
COULD MEAN LOSS OF INNOCENT LIVES. OUR TRIGGER HAPPY COAST GUARD MUST
INVESTIGATE THE BOAT EVEN IF IN THE BOTTOM OF THE ocean floor. The New
BJP believe in every story must be Dramatic the moment it won the
election TILL THE AAP punctured it Great Ego. jai Hind. There is a
very old saying" When some one tells too many lies he cannot remembers
all those lies when he ask to repeat them' Jai Bharatmata WHO WERE
AVOIDING THE pATISTANI COAST GUARD
