To oppose the mindless censorship of our regressive political class and social actors, we at Paradigm Shift <https://www.facebook.com/paradigmshiftvegan> have decided to host the public screening of the documentary film 'India's Daughters'. We believe that instead of shunning the discourse on rape from public memory we should come together and talk about it. We suggest that the given movie should be shown in every nook and corner of the country to highlight the fact that we are yet to come out of our ancient mindset which makes 'the other sex' mere source of public consumption. About the film: Film by Leslee Udwin about the rape and murder of Jyoti Singh that set India alight. India banned the film ahead of its planned broadcast as part of the 2015 International Women's Day; the BBC brought its broadcast forward to March 4 2015. We invite you to participate in the screening and discussion post after it.
