[The news channel propagating this allegation is known to be soft
towards the BJP.
The former AAP MLA now levelling this allegation had in the recent
past released a tape implicating Arvind Kejriwal in a bid to poach
Congress MLAs in order to form an AAP government in Delhi in case the
Congress refused to support the AAP.
That does not of course ipso facto make his new allegation false.
Not even the timing of making this allegation (concerning some
development that had taken place back in 2013).

Now let's look at the hypothesis (or just canard?) that Kejriwal is an
RSS plant.
If the allegation, enunciated below, is correct, then it goes to
contradict that hypothesis.
If it is wrong, even then it goes to contradict.
Just an aside.

NEW DELHI: Former Aam Aadmi Party MLA Rajesh Garg on Tuesday alleged
that during government formation, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal had given
his consent to fake calls made to party MLAs in the name of senior BJP
leaders Nitin Gadkari and Arun Jaitley offering them money to support
the BJP.

Garg has alleged that the plan was to accuse the Bharatiya Janata
Party of horse-trading.
The former AAP MLA said that he, along with other MLAs, had received
calls offering money to support the Bharatiya Janata Party and this
was done with Arvind Kejriwal's consent.
He also alleged that all the calls were made through unknown numbers.

"The calls were made with Arvind Kejriwal's consent from private
numbers. We have evidence regarding the same," Rajesh Garg said,
claiming that he had also received a similar call.
"People called for the AAP's NC meeting were their (Arvind and team)
'yes men', many important people were not called," Garg said.

"During initial phase of government formation, I myself received a
call which said they were calling from Jaitley-ji's office. I was
offered Rs 10 crore for supporting the BJP. We had a party meeting at
the Constitution Club. I had got it from a private number," he added.

He further said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took the
whole matter very lightly and laughed it off.

"When we were forming the government by opinion poll, I had written a
letter saying that Arun Jaitley had offered us this amount to support
them. The media had then asked me for evidence," he added.
The ex-AAP MLA further said he had also lodged a complaint with the
police in this regard.
"Some more MLAs got same kind of calls. I took a screenshot of number
and lodged the police complaint. After that police arrested a man
during investigation. Following that, I got a call from Arvind's PA
and Sanjay Singh asking me to withdraw the complaint. They asked me
not to pursue the matter," he said.

A few days ago, Garg had released an audio tape which purportedly
showed Kejriwal asking him to poach six Congress MLAs. The AAP
suspended Garg and dismissed the audio tape, saying it was an attempt
to defame the party.

Meanwhile, the Aam Admi Party is going through a major crisis although
Kejriwal has stressed that everything is alright.

The bitter infighting in the party and the crackdown on dissidents who
had challenged Kejriwal's leadership have now spilled into the open
with Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan having been kicked out of the
National Executive.
