`Science and technology are too important to be left to the scientists and technologists' - From one of our interviews in 1986 with late Dr. Amulya Kumar Reddy, who was one of the earliest scientists in India to take an anti-nuclear energy stand and demanded strengthening the use of sustainable energy in India. In the context of Koodankulam, I hope there are more scientists like that today, whom people can remember not just through their work, but also through their social and political role and beyond all, as simple and wonderful human beings.
