The fact is that there has been no revolution ever, as opposed to counter-revolutionary coups, in any functioning democracy except for the solitary example of Russia way back in November 1917. And, even in Russia, the November revolution was, for all practical purpose, a continuation of the preceding anti-monarchic February revolution with a brief interlude in between. That way, it looks democracy is the strongest antidote to revolution. Though it is not nearly as effective in case of counter-revolutionary coups. This aspect deserves deeper and more serious probing. Capitalism is growing and it is destroying every aspects of life in this country . Other nations are facing a different set of problems . This is an alarm for a future revolution which will overthrow all issues at one shot . At present , nobody can stop capitalism as it is controlled by very big corporates and capital. Indian left is not able to find an identity in this crisis . It is quiet natural . Elections and democracy cannot solve current problems . Only revolution can.
