This is a serious issue,” said Kejriwal.*** [Emphasis added.] Earlier during the day, the AAP held a briefing on the issue claiming it has tracked Modi’s namesake who was born on October 19, 1958, unlike PM Narendra Damodardas Modi whose date of birth was September 17, 1950, even as the former did graduation from 1975-78, as furnished by the PM in his election affidavit for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls. “The PM did not graduate from DU and he forged degrees, which is criminal,” said AAP leader Ashutosh, adding that he had filed fresh RTI plea requesting DU/Gujarat University to provide more details about Modi’s degrees. Referring to AAP MLA Jitender Tomar’s fake degree case, the AAP demanded similar action saying law should be same for all in the country and Delhi Police should act in the same fashion.
