Boat Rally (Kadal Yathra) 2014 was undertaken by National Fishworkers Forum (NFF) and Kerala Swatantra Matsyathozhilali Federation (KSMTF) from Mangalore to Trivandrum, Kerala. The massive rally was undertaken to protect the Sea, Coast, Fish Resource and Inland Water Bodies. The rally was inaugurated by Medha Patkar in Mangalore and closing ceremony was inaugurated by Comrade V S Achuthanandan in Trivandrum. The rally along the sea saw the participation of thousands of fishermen.
