It will dwell on the compliance with a second commitment period which has commenced from 1st January 2013 in the 11th year of the Protocol. There is a logical compulsion to undertake climate action to prevent irreversible global changes in the pre-2020 and post-2020 period. It will also explore the remedial nature of the proposed solutions for combating climate crisis in the 22nd year of UNFCCC’s entry into force.
