Hats off to the consistent united struggle against the invasion of land, water and forests by the corporate giant POSCO in Odisha. Many people suffered in the struggle. Over 100 bombs have been thrown at the struggling villagers. Several hurt, died and arrested. But they did not give up the struggle, using all possible democratic sources. Hats off to Abhay Sahoo, Prashant Paikray and a large number of women, children and men who stood bravely in this `freedom struggle'. But the struggle has not ended yet. There are some more `finishing touches' that are required. This is the time, when all people's movements, activists, environmental groups, women's groups, farmers' organisations, fisher unions, students, academics, sensitive media professionals, cultural activists and others stand by this historical movement to execute the demands of this final call. This history of a major battle for freedom must be recorded properly, so that it will be a lesson for all future struggles. Thank you PPSS, for inspiring me.
