[Quite interestingly, no videos of the claimed "surgical strike" (or
"strikes") released yet.
That's quite noteworthy.]

ISPR releases video clip showing destruction of Indian posts on LoC

RAWALPINDI: Inter Services Public Relations, the media wing of
Pakistan military, has released a video clip showing destruction of
Indian posts along the Line of Control in response to unprovoked
Indian firing on innocent citizens.

Five Indian soldiers were killed, several injured and many Indian
bunkers were destroyed when Pakistani troops effectively responded
against unprovoked firing and shelling by Indian troops at Tatta Pani
along Line of Control (LoC) on Saturday.

"Indian Unprovoked CFV at Tatta Pani along LoC, violently responded",
ISPR Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor tweeted. "Indian
bunkers destroyed, 5 Indian soldiers killed many injured," the tweet
added.

The United Nations has expressed concern over the escalating tensions
between India and Pakistan following unprovoked Indian firing across
the Line of Control, killing at least two civilians.

video showing destroying Indian posts across the LoC.

The Pakistan Army on Sunday released a video purportedly showing
destruction caused to the Indian military posts across the Line of
Control.

The 27-second video was released a day after it claimed to have killed
five Indian soldiers while retaliating to India’s “unprovoked
ceasefire violation” in Tatta Pani sector along the LoC.

Indian Army sources, however, said it was a fake video and said there
were no casualties.

Pakistan Army spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor posted the video
on twitter in the early hours of Sunday.

“Video clip showing destruction of Indian posts on LOC by Pak Army in
response to unprovoked Indian firing on innocent citizens,” he said in
a brief statement with the video.

This is the second time in two weeks when Pakistan army released such a video.

On May 24, it released a video purportedly showing heavy damage caused
to the Indian posts across the LoC, in a tit-for-tat action after the
Indian Army released a clip of the “punitive fire assaults” on
Pakistani positions.

On Saturday, Army’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)
claimed to have killed five Indian soldiers and destroyed Indian
bunkers in the firing.

No further details of the cross-border exchange of fire were provided
by the Pakistan Army.

Also on Saturday, the Indian Army said that a woman was injured when
the Pakistani Army violated ceasefire twice in two sectors of Poonch
district by firing mortar shells on forward posts and civilian areas
along the LoC, prompting Indian troops to retaliate.
