Under the SC&ST Prevention of Atrocities Act, forcing Adivasis off their land without their consent is a crime. The Adivasis allege that *they were coerced and cheated into selling their land*. The good news: The Raigarh police have accepted the complaints. The bad news: Out of the 81 complaints filed on June 14th - *not one FIR (First Information Report) has been registered.* The Adivasis have been asked to wait for the police to conduct a preliminary enquiry - but they cannot afford to wait, because justice delayed is justice denied. This is where you come in.
