The Sangh Parivar is a confused lot. On the one hand they say that `cow is your mother’. And on the other hand they say that `cow has to be your national animal’. You guys must first decide whether cow is `mother’ or `animal’. My mother passed away a few years ago. I was attached to her since my childhood. She went to temples, but she treated Muslims, Christians, Dalits and Adivasis as equals. Her social and moral values were totally different from yours. She still lingers on my mind and even now, she comes to me and talks to me in my dreams. I can assure you that my mother was neither a cow nor an animal. Please, do not insult my mother. You have no right to do that!
