Is the Indian Constitution going to the dustbin?
Is there anybody in this secular India to defend the secular values of the
Indian Constitution drafted by Ambedkar?
The Union Minister Anantkumar Hegde has stated that those who claimed they
were secular `do not have an identity of their parents and the blood’! What
he meant was the secularists were bastards without proper parents.
To become a Union Minister, he had to take an oath to perform according to
the Indian Constitution. He had to do it in front of the President of
India. Anantkumar Hegde conveniently forgot his own oath to the nation.
This guy needs to be booked for insulting the Indian Constitution. I am
sure any court of India which respects the Indian Constitution can do this
job.
His statement also includes: “I will be happy if someone identifies as
Muslim, Christian, Brahmin, Lingayat or Hindu. But trouble will arise if
they say they are secular.” Hegde, who has been a member of RSS and AVP,
also forgot his own earlier statements. He was booked for hate speech for
making derogatory remarks against Islam. In March 2016, he was quoted as
saying that “as long as there is Islam in this world, there will be
terrorism”.
This person has no business to remain as a Union Minister. The challenge to
the nation today is, who will live longer? Ambedkar or Anantkumar Hegde?
