I. As of 12:53, the seat share of the BJP is slated to jump from 83 (counting in those won by its two breakaway factions) to 108, or thereabout. An increase of 25, or thereabout. The vote share rises from 32.4% (together with those of the breakaway factions) to 36,6% (approx.) - an increase of 4.2% points. As compared to the last parliamentary poll, the number of seats dips from 132. A decrease of 24. Vote share dips from 43.4%, a decrease of 6.8% points.
II. Congress seats dip from 122 to 70 - a decrease of 52. If adjusted for the BJP splinters, it's a dip of 19, from 89. Vote share from 36.6% to 38.1% - an increase of 1.5% points. As compared to the last parliamentary poll, the seats dip from 77 - a decrease of 7. Vote share dips from 41.2% - a decrease of 3.3% points. III. JD(S) seats remain unchanged at 40. If adjusted for the BJP splinters, it's a rise of 9, from 31. Vote share from 19.9% to 17.7% - a drop of 2.2% points. As compared to the last parliamentary poll, the seats rise from 15, a quantum jump of 25. Vote share rises by 6.6%, from 11.1%.
