[A dangerous demagogue. Bose, a leader of the Indian Left, had nothing in common with the RSS. The HIndu Mahasabha had opposed him. The RSS extended no support ever. In fact, it had scrupulously stayed away from the epic freedom struggle, of which Bose was a stellar figure, alongside Gandhi and Nehru, despite differences.
The RSS was dead opposed to Dr. Ambedkar, who'd become the Union Law Minister in the Congress government post-Independence. And, of course, be put in the driver's seat by the then ruling Congress to draft the Constitution. Patel had banned the RSS. He was the Dy. Prime Minister and the Home Minister in the post-Independence Union Government. Would die in harness.
