CSR driven research in natural science, social science, agrarian, health,
education and environmental movements is bad ethics.

Is it sane to promote CSR driven economic and social justice campaigns?

Can we be running with the hare and hunting with the hounds.

It is dubious, unethical & condemnable to hide CSR funding and to use such
fiscal muscle to hijack people's movements.

Sooner or later all such entities will get exposed. Supreme Court penalised
one such NGO in Kalyaneswari V Union of India case (Verdict can be accessed
here
http://www.supremecourtcases.com/index2.php?option=com_content&itemid=99999999&do_pdf=1&id=20731
)

One can check the court's verdict, it is being taught as a case law as part
of Constitutional Law. We need to compile and publish such case studies at
the earliest before it is too late.

Deafening silence of collaborators & facilitators will come to light. They
are equally guilty of helping corporate brands in the ethical positioning
of their brands.

I will be making a presentation at the 14th World Bioethics Congress on the
topic of 'Research on Chrysotile Asbestos:A
Failure of Ethics by National Institute of Occupational Health & National
Human Rights Commission' on 6th December in Bangalore.

Kindly note that all the storage places of Food Corporation of India (FCI)
is under asbestos roofs, which is banned in over 60 countries because safe
and controlled use of asbestos and asbestos products is impossible.
Asbestos dust settles on the food grains which we consume.

....years ago I recognized my kinship with all living beings, and I made up
my mind that I was not one bit better than the meanest on earth. I said
then, and I say now, that while there is a lower class, I am in it, and
while there is a criminal element, I am of it, and while there is a soul in
prison, I am not free.
