Please go through the draft health data policy which, if brought in, would
ask Indians for information on sexual orientation, caste, religious and
political beliefs among other things.

What the heck "health" has got to do with such info???

And the card, which would contain the heath data and much more, has to be
produced at the doctor's clinic / hospital / test lab /pharmacist.
So ...

While the state turns more and more opaque, individuals will become
completely transparent, with no privacy at all???
How vulnerable would this data be to hacking by unauthorised entities???
With no data safety law in place, how does one stop adverserial use by the
custodian of the data pool???

Here's where you can read the draft policy and give your feedback: <
https://ndhm.gov.in/stakeholder_consultations/ndhm_policies>.

The page says: "Your suggestions and inputs will be invaluable in our
journey forward, and we would like to thank you at the onset for taking out
the time to share your thoughts on the proposed National Digital Health
Mission Ecosystem today. This form shall be active till 10/09/2020 05:00
PM."
