Thanks a lot!

Thanks to Sekhar for carefully prizing out the main elements in Putin's
yesterday speech in justification of the ongoing brutal and massive
invasion of a much smaller and weaker neighbour.
It's really too much that Putin has equated this egregious invasion with
the heroic armed resistance of the Soviet Army and the people against the
huge aggression by the Nazi Germany in blatant breach of the
Molotov-Ribentrop Pact, which Hitler had used as a vital prop to inaugurate
the WWII.

Dinakar has contested the claim of Ukraine being a constituting element of
"historical Russian land" (an echo of "Akhand Bharat"?) - via a very
interesting and enlightening etymological dissection of "Ukraine".
