Clearly shows up his keenness to get into an ideological battle regardless
of its short-term impact on local electoral prospects.

The intention, obviously, is to challenge the very legitimacy of the
packaging of Hindutva politics as "nationalism".
He has, of course, solid facts--well-documented--very much on his side.

Even then -- given the current circumstances and the role of the mainstream
media, in particular -- it's, no doubt, a tough and daring venture.
