A measure which will have immense impact on the current voting system is being pushed ahead in a rather hush-hush manner -- bearing the stamp of the signature style of the evil regime in place. Public opinion must be immediately mobilised to demand open widespread consultation, discussions in the parliament and examination by the concerned parliamentary standing committee.
