I think it's a bit intimidating to start with a gabc example that long. It makes the reassurances that it's so "simple" seem a bit unconvincing! How about presenting the gabc for the Alleluia example? That would be short enough so that you could incorporate it into the index page. (I've already added the Alleluia image to the index.en.html, as an example of the possible output.) Really, we ought to make up a tutorial starting with simple cases, and a page of examples, short and long, but I haven't had time to work on that subject.
