Thank you for your interest in Gregorio! I think a midi translation would be very interesting, a lot of people are talking about that! The thing is I don't know anything about midi... The best way to do a gabc->midi translation would be to write a C plugin to gregorio. Maybe if I'm fed up with everything else in gregorio (which is a bit the case right now, so I'm working on gabc highlighting in text editors) I'll do so. Do you have some skills in C? If you don't it's ok, a script will be already very interesting! > PS. Would an Italian translation be interesting? > Actually yes. As a lot of italian people would be interested by gregorio, but not so many read english or french very well. For example the franciscans in Assisi would be interested, but only if there is an italian translation. The software itself is really not verbose, except a little error rarely, so it would be useless to translate it. But I think some pages of the site would be very important to translate! I can speak and write italian, but not well enough to launch such a project (and I have some other things to do in gregorio). Do you think you would have time to translate some pages?
