Details:
Sometimes if the last real staff is full, it is followed by an empty staff.
The last real staff also has a spurious custos (as if the final note were
repeated), even though there are no more notes.
The attached files showed this when I processed them.
(The compile-command line in the verbum_caro_test1.tex file shows what
commands I ran to process them.)
