Follow-up Comment #1, bug #13463 (project gregorio):
I think that particular example should be fine; there's a special case for
it, written at line 1455 in gregoriotex-write.c. But the solution is too
specific at the moment -- for example, if you make the second glyph three
notes long (d.f!gwhf), the extra space reappears.
