Details:
When a Dominican bar is used, there is excessive spacing afterward.
GABC SAMPLE:
et(c) spes(d) no(f)stra,(gfgh) (;4) sal(d!ef/EDC)ve.(d) (::)
FURTHER INFORMATION:
The gregoriotex file generated for the score is not treating those bars as
separate syllables. Instead, the \gredominica call is tacked on to the end
of the preceding syllable.
\gresyllable{str}{a}{,}{1}{s}{a}{0}{}{%
\greglyph{\char 11270}{g}{h}{2}{}{}%
\greendofglyph{0}%
\greglyph{\char 17}{h}{d}{0}{}{}%
\greendofelement{2}{0}%
\gredominica{4}{}%
}%
In contrast, the minima/minor bars do produce calls to \grebarsyllable:
\grebarsyllable{}{}{}{1}{}{e}{0}{}{%
\gredivisiominor{}%
}%
