Hello Richard and all, First thank you for updating your script! There is though one thing that should be changed in your update: latin1 should *not* be used. Also, inputenc does not work properly with LuaLaTeX, luainputenc should be used instead (it automatically backs to inputenc if called under pdfTeX or TeX). latin1 should not be used because gregorio outputs utf8, and even though there is some similarity between the two for the 0-255 range, it still differs in the byte representation and higher ranges (greek for example).
