Details:
Several users on the mailing list have had trouble building for Ubuntu. The
fixes are as follows:
1. The dh-autoreconf package must be installed in addition to all the other
required packages.
2. The -b option is needed in addition to the -d option when building
(dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -d -b). If not, dpkg-buildpackage will fail
looking for the "original" tarball.
