I'm working on the instructions for manually configuring TeXworks to use the engines on Windows and need some advice. TeXworks normally places scripts that modify it's behavior in:

c:\Documents and Setting\Username\.texlive2013\texmf-config\texworks\

However, .texlive2013 is a hidden folder, and so can be hard for users to find. Further, the batch files don't have to be there for TeXworks to use them. They could just as easily remain in:

c:\Program Files\gregorio\contrib

That would make them much easier to find when manually configuring TeXworks. Additionally, since this is a system level folder, rather than a user level one, you wouldn't need to recopy the engines for each user that wants to use them (though you still would need to configure TeXworks for each user).

Do you think it would be a good idea to gain these advantages by keeping the batch files outside of where TeXworks normally places its scripts?
