I tried Élie's suggestion and didn't get any better results, but after considerable trial and error did manage to get a working script.

After getting the installation with configuration working, however, I noticed the same problem that Conor Cook was reporting on the user mailing list. Scores compile, but the neumes are missing from the final pdf. Uninstalling and reinstalling gregorio doesn't help, and that's about the extent of what I would expect a Windows user to be able to do. Based on the commit history, I was using the most up to date version of the svn when I made the installer file.

Perhaps it might be worthwhile to create a branch for the font development and then revert the fonts on the trunk to a point where they work on all systems again? Then we can use the branch to figure out what's going on with the font issue while the users can continue to download the trunk and make use of the old stuff.
