Hi,
I´ve just updated my gregorio installation with the development
version, gregorio version 2.4-svn, in hope to get better (less) space
between notes, and noticed that the command to place a word in italics is
"leaking" and now affects the previous syllable, as in the picture:

Well, also the syllables become united.
As a workaround I insert an empty note (just a "()"), but this inserts
extra spaces in the partition and brings some difficulties to format my
chant booklet.
The same gabc file produced correct results before:

I´m currently using gregorio inside Scribus. All in Debian 8 (jessie)
