That's not easy, because bytecode is different between different
versions of LuaTeX, and different between LuaTeX and LuajitTeX...

And for gregorio-text, the cache system will be much more efficient than
just byte-compiling gregoriotex.lua, as it will also bytecompile
luaotfload, lualibs, etc. which are much bigger than the GregorioTeX lua
files.
