My apologies for not getting to this sooner. I got distracted and took my eye off of this problem.

Having fixed the 10.6 machine that I have access to, I was able to confirm that the current 4.1.1 build of Gregorio as installed by the installer does not work on 10.6. When called, the program returns "Illegal Instruction." Based on my research, this implies that there are some optimizations in the binary which are not compatible with 10.6.

However, I was able to build from source a working version of 4.1.1 on the Snow Leopard machine. Can the people who reported this problem to you build from source? If so, then I think this is the solution for them. If not, then I'll look into what possibilities there are for building a binary which is compatible with the older OSes on my primary machine and how we might go about distributing it.
