Yes, that's exactly it.  Something that used to bug me with opustex,
possible to get around with something long winded like specifying
spatiumparvums all over the place.  I think all the books - Liber
Usualis, Monastic Antiphonale, Cantuale, line up the punctum inclinata.
It looks like a straight line to the eye - leaving space for the missing
notes.
